Round 4 entry form below. DO NOT FAX entry forms as the previous fax number given out will not be available to the Race Secretary for this round and your form will not be received.

Post all forms to the address at the bottom of the form only.

RIDERS DISCOUT
Riders who have competed at all the rounds will receive a $40 discount from their entry fee for the fourth and final round at Broadford. That's nearly a 20% discount. We have also reduced the cost of a garage bike bay to $20 per bike.

You can enter the Friday practice on the entry form as well for only $120 instead of the normal $130+

Big Changes for 2010 Series
Preston MCC, Hartwell MCC and Motorcycling Victoria are working together to attract riders back to the series. A
number of things have been put in place to ensure a great and successful 2010 series.
They are: -
- Reduced entry fees. (Around $220 for Broadford rounds and $60 for a cross entries)
- More races per weekend via cross entries. Up to 7 races. Most riders machines will be allegeable to cross
enter into a second championship class. See details below for classes.
- Reduced costs with the help of Motorcycling Victoria and more entries.
- More sponsors. A new sponsors committee.
- Better promotion. New Series posters.

Some of the big thing riders have been telling us is that they want more rides and reduce fees; well we think we have
done it but we need your help. If this series is going to succeed we need the riders to support the series. If we can
increase the number of riders up to around 120 then we can continue to reduce and maintain lower entry fees. To
attract riders back we are allowing most machines to cross enter in two classes. We have changed the format of the
events to allow machines that qualify for two classes to get 2 sets of races by shuffling the order and grouping of
races and classes. Even after paying the cross entry fee it will still be cheaper than last years total entry fee but with
double the races. If you are eligible to enter two classes you will get at least 6 races, 2 qualifying sessions and 1
warm-up session.

Superbike & Supersport can also enter in the New Open +500cc class, no Superstock machines allow.
Stock & Modified 400 machines can also enter in the Pre-Modern F2 classes.
Superstock 600 machines can enter Superstock 600 & Supersport classes.
Superstock 1000 machines can enter Superstock 1000 & Superbike classes.
Pre-Modern F1 machines can enter Pre-Modern F1 & either Superbike or Supersport classes.
Older 125GP machines can enter 125GP & Pre-Modern F2 classes.
Older Clubsport-Proddy machines can enter Clubsport-Proddy & Pre-Modern F2 classes.
Bears machines can enter Bears & Superbike or Open +500cc classes.
Twin Sprint machines can enter Stock 400-Twin Sprint & Thunderbike classes.

Pre-Modern classes are for any machines that are older than 9 years old. These classes were introduced to allow
older machines to continue to race long after they become uncompetitive.

Thunderbike class is for machines that don't fit into the standard classes. For example single cylinder machines
like MX bikes.

Just a quick reason for the extra costs of Phillip Island round.

Track hire is $14000 more than Broadford
Medical $2000 more than Broadford as we need an extra crew.

$16000 / 130 riders = $123 extra per rider. We have only added $100.

We are looking at making the final round at Broadford very very cheap to say thanks to all the riders that have supported the new series. An entry fee of round $200 if you have competed at least two other rounds.

Just a quick note to explain the costs at Winton.

Track hire for Winton isn't cheap at $22,000. We are also charged a fee to use the Air Fence ($500).
Other big costs are travel, computime, medical, MV permit, rider levy & trophies. These extras cost $10,000+. So to break even we need over 130 riders.

We have made an effort to keep the costs down for the riders, for example we made a deal to hire all the garages in bulk for Winton and we are passing them onto the riders at cost. You can't get them any cheaper than that.

If we were to charge an entry fee that reflected the cost of the track hire the fee would be closer to $300. As long as we get good entry numbers this should work fine but we do need riders support.

You will see that we are offering riders a discount to the entry fee for the last round if they compete at all rounds to show our thanks. We do appreciate the support the series has got this year. And it hasn't gone un-noticed by other clubs & MV.

A big thanks must goto Sue Edwards, Steve Thibou, Peters Stevens MC and Adams Prints in promoting the series.
