Here we go, a poets corner dedicated to Motorcycle Racing.
PMCC has a long history of members, friends and family contributing to the arts.
There talents are still visible in the history of our club from artwork to songs.
The early newsletters are reminders of there contributions.
PMCC even had a band of musicians who used to play at the social events in the  50's and 60's.  They were called the Preston Piss Pots....... Trevor Pound, past PMCC president and Harvie Wiltshire winner was the band leader.
John Nash, also a past PMCC Prez is well known for his musical talents and is still performing with his band.
Today, the creative work for our posters, tickets programs etc are executed voluntarily by club members, mainly Steve Thibou and Mike Christoph.

Now PMCC has it's own poet, Terry Simpson, a first I believe for a motorcycle racing club.
Please enjoy these poems and all are welcome to post up there own contributions.

checkin out the racing
at strategic sites around the track

neon suits and flags
a radio call
there has been a fall

recovery is on the way

whatever the weather
viligant are they
in their stay

Maybe Tracey had missed a gear.
Suddenly her bike did slow.
Riders behind her got around.
But not so Johnny O.
Off to hospital for the night.
We heard the scans are clear.
Tracey is an intrepid lass.
Confronting any fear.

The rival took Marcus at crash.
It was the first and only time.
Cause Marcus took the lead right back.
The measure was sublime.
A 400 was closing in.
Got awful close to his tail.
The pit crew were a frown.
But Marcus kept the power on.
The Kwakka to the test.
The chequered flag.
It is in the bag.
The next race now is the quest.
